Documentaries
Man, it's been forever since I've watched any of these, since I'm so busy now! I used to love NOVA when I was younger, but these days, I get my daily value of science intake from my classes. I also really enjoyed the first two generations of Cosmos with Carl Sagan and Neil Tyson, although I've yet to make time to watch the third.

Cartoons
I really quite liked the Unikitty series, but it's sadly no longer running :(
Pokémon the Series is great, except for the BW and JN generations
Season 1 of BFDI used to be very good but the show has fallen off a lot since then
