what do you think of the regional events? i'm kind of annoyed that none of my events are at regionals.

Good eye. Yes he is very insistent on these events (and eventually, the time slots) once he (and the board) decide them. Makes sense. If you want to continue this conversation (not that there's much left), PM me. No use wasting this thread with it.

i just have one question. how do they decide which events go where? is there some kind of protocol set forth by scioly.

There is a board. They decide all of this stuff before rule packets are sent out. To my knowledge, it has nothing to do on a national level. They try to make the best decisions for our state, but clearly cannot satisfy every competitor.

Considered? Yes. Will it be put into effect? Probably not. Unless the coach feels like he has some free time (highly doubtful), no one is there to plan it. But it definitely crossed our minds now that we are part of a different conference.
