So, we wish to combine the pulley and the inclined plane such that the string on the pulley is attached to the ball on the inclined plane. Using the diagram below, do you think this satisfies the rule that actions must be consecutive in rule 3.a.ii?

I think where you run into issues is with rule 3 iv. That an initial falling weight is what raises the object up the incline plane, but is also what drives the pulley. As a matter of fact you could take the incline plane out all together, and the pulley would in theory still work.
