At the coaches clinic in December, at the session with the board, they were discussing the state tournament slate. I was able to get a copy. I asked the state director if it was ok if I shared this. He said just make sure to stress that this is still a draft slate. He's hoping that it won't change, but it might.

Also at the coaches clinic, they talked about Experimental Design. They're going to run it with the official rules and the original packet. They're going to videotape themselves performing an experiment and then the students will have to do the write-up based on that.

I would like to announce a new trial event that will be held for both Division B and C at the Michigan State Tournament: Agribio! This event encompasses agricultural science as well as ecology and soil science.
