The 2021 rules link has been posted on the state website, so we can be sure that the state director is paying attention to NMSO, but it probably (wisely) proceeding with care and caution (the first tournament probably won't be for months yet). I'm still checking often for more updates. If there's anyone out there to hear them.

2021 registration form has been posted! The state competition is officially being run on March 20th, 2021. This is VERY different from the past, where it was run in February, and is likely pushed back due to the newness of running online competitions.

The Socorro High Division B Invitational has been announced, to be run on January 9th, 2021. More information can be found on this post. Registration will be officially opening sometime this week, with priority given to New Mexico teams. Spread the word, and hope to "see" you there!

The Southwest New Mexico Regional now has a scilympiad page! By extension, the date on the scilympiad page of the tournament is January 30th, 2021. While not an official announcement, it is likely that this is the date of the tournament.

The Southeastern New Mexico Regional now has a scilympiad page! The tournament will run on February 20th, 2021 (notably right around where the state tournament would normally fall), and awards will fall on February 22nd, 2021. It will use the Mini SO format. It also appears that Lovington Schools are now running it, rather than NMMI (based on the contact email address on the scilympiad page).

I recently heard that Southwestern NM Regional may be running on March 8th, 2021, adjusted with state. Due to the uncertainty, dates for this tournament are being taken back to the unknown status.
