I was quite surprised this one hasn't been made yet, so here we go!

a) There's a certain acid that is used to complement the caramel flavor within colas. What is the name of that acid?
b) Write the balanced equation between the acid in part a) and calcium hydroxide.
c) Say that I managed to extract 216 grams of water from a given neutralization reaction in part b). How many moles of hydroxide did I use?

phosphoric acid, 2H3PO4 + 3Ca(OH)2 --> Ca3(PO4)2 + 6H2O, 12.0 mol OH- (6 if you were asking about Ca(OH)2 rather than OH-)

Which acid is used in colorimetric tests to differentiate between heroin and morphine?
