Rickards SO is proud to announce our 1st invitational tournament taking place on December 5, 2020! (Div C) and December 6, 2020 (Div B)

Who can register?

• This tournament is for Division B and Division C.
• Any team that follows the 15 member and 7 senior/freshmen rule may participate.
• There is no limit on the amount of teams that can register from each school or the amount of teams we will have in total.
• Official registration will start on September 8, 2020.

How much does the tournament cost?

• The tournament cost is only $50 per team.
• The tournament is free for any Title I School.
• We will donate all profits from the tournament to COVID relief programs for underprivileged people here in Florida.

How will the tournament be run?

• The tournament will be 100% virtually run through Scilympiad.
• We will run all the events on this Google sheet. This sheet could change at anytime, so check frequently!
• After everybody has taken their tests, all tests and answer keys will be released publicly.
• A dispute form will go out after the tests and answer keys have been released. If a participant feels there is a discrepancy in a question, the Event Supervisor will be able to review the dispute and the answer key might be changed to match the correct answer.

What about awards?

• We will have awards for top 3 in each event and the top 3 schools overall. These awards will be shipped to the schools to be collected by the students when appropriate.
• We will have a YouTube livestream on December 13, 2020 to announce the winners.
• Results and raw scores will be released publicly after the livestream.

I believe there was a mention about the date possibly changing because the original date put it two days after Thanksgiving.

Can confirm. Changed the tournament to compensate with Boyceville.
