Changes to Tracking Invitationals/Tournaments

Our community is all about innovation at Scioly.org. Behind the scenes, we are working on many great technologies to share with you all, in order to make the community more informed, efficient, and organized. With these changes, we have decided to disband the long-standing tradition of tracking invitationals on the Invitational wiki page. Instead, tournaments (including invitationals, regionals, state, and national tournaments) should be added to each state's wiki page using the State tournaments box template. An example of this setup is in place on the Florida and Colorado wiki page.
This will allow us to maintain a list of all tournaments happening each state using relatively short, minimal tables, which we hope will be useful to the community, especially as this particular season is very variable. Additionally, this allows a more centralized focus when viewing a state's wiki page, and will allow for better handling of data in the future.
What happens to the old Invitational lists?
Those will remain there as an archive. They won't be deleted!
But, I wanted a list of all invitationals happening this season. Why are you taking that away?
While it may seem like that feature is going away, it is not planned to. We are working on newer technologies behind the scenes that will allow users to see the tournament data they want to see, such as all invitationals. Unfortunately, it isn't ready just yet, but we're working hard to get it released soon.
I'd like to contribute, but I'm not sure where to start.
The Florida and Colorado are both good examples of what a setup for the new template looks like. Additionally, here's some starter code (if you'd like to add the table to your own state's page):
Where do I get help?
If you would like further assistance, please don't hesistate to DM the Wiki Moderators group or myself (we promise you aren't bothering us! ). Wiki editors are also sometimes available on the IRC on the #wiki channel.
Thank you all for your continued support of the wiki and the general community. The site would not be here without all of you. If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesistate to reach out.
