I don't believe such a thread like this exists, so I'll just start a new one.

Our individual join dates and times are enshrined in history forever. They're next to every post we make and we can never change them! That being said, do you remember what you were doing at that time?

February 7, 2019 was in the middle of my junior year season, the Thursday after our regional competition, and I had been spending weeks passively browsing the forums and all the while I was trying to come up with a username that was good so I could actually participate, and then, at 8:42 am, eight minutes into 1st period English, it hit me. Giantpants.

I vividly remembering "Dang, my join date is always gonna be listed as during English. Nice." as I got the confirmation email! lol

Anyone else remember what they were doing or their situation as they made their account?

I was, um, wasting time instead of grinding for states oops

I made this account after our regional tournament in 2019, not knowing how much procrastination this account would cause me.

April 30th, 2018, 10:29 am. A few days after state my freshman year, presumably when I was going through SciOly withdrawals. I don't remember what class I was in though - maybe it was Spanish? That sounds about right.

It's been quite a while since I joined lol so I'm not exactly sure what I was doing tbh. Probably just scrolling through the Internet looking for scioly stuff when I found the forums.

I was stalking the forums for around a month and used the wiki for over a year before I joined, so I was scrolling through the forums when I finally decided to join in on the fun going on

I was snooping around the forums for a while, and I thought "wow this looks informational and fun", so I decided to join. I joined about 13 days before our regionals, so I could ask for some advice on the boomilever forums, and I got the help I needed!! Thanks so much guys!

I apparently made this account the day after MIT during freshman year. I probably wanted to post on a Fermi Questions thread or something.

I had some spare time on Thanksgiving, and I was stalking older sassy games, so I decided to make an account. I vividly remember messaging Umaroth with "Why is British English the only available language when registering for a forums account?"

I met the forums after one of my teammates showed me a meme on here after MIT 2019. I made an account after realizing there was a wiki I could help improve and made my very first edit the next day.
