view active topics is not working

view active topics is not working. it says no suitable matched were found. im probably doing something stupid lol..

None of the forums are set to appear in the active topics list.

Prior to the most recent update, there was a bug in the forum software that made all the forums appear in the active topics list, regardless of settings.

What do you use the listing for? My instinct would be to enable it for only event forums, but I don't know what people used this for (I'd never touched it).

I use this listing pretty extensivley. Instead of going through all the threads looking for new posts, i would click the active topics button and it would have all the threads listed in chronological order of the most recent post. This was extremly conveinent as i could just look through that list for anything i would be interested in untill i would reach a point where i had already looked through the threads from there down. How can i revert back the previous condition? Sorry if im not making sense but im sick and sleep deprived.
Also, yes i realize that the new post button does the same thing, but the active topics list was longer.
