Hi everyone. I hope you're all enjoying your summers.

If you have a bit of time to spare, please contribute what you know about your state to the scioly.org wiki. A bit of instructions can be found at [wiki]Category:State Pages[/wiki]. In general, just try to follow the style of the Indiana Wiki.

If your state does not appear on that list, simply click on the link to your state below and start editing!

One important thing: please add

Code: Select all

to the bottom of your page so that it appears in the State Pages list on the wiki.

In addition, at the bottom of each state page, or at least somewhere in the content, try to include a list of teams for both Division B and C

Set up the list as follows (or similar):

Code: Select all

Teams
Division C

:Team 1
:Team 2

Division B

:Team 1
:Team 2
:etc
Essentially, the goal is to put the teams for each state in a list (preferably alphabetical) WITH LINKS, to encourage people to add team pages. Perhaps if a team page is well done, the Team of the Week (or rather the Featured Team, so as not to suggest a time schedule) might make a return. Do some research about the history of your team and maybe get it featured!

Is there any specific format we should follow when creating or adding detail to the team forum?

I'm not really sure. I just put a couple sentences describing the team and a table showing the recent finishes at regionals and states (our team never made it to nats). You can just follow the format of another finished page.

And it would be pretty cool to have a featured team. :)

i would put all the teams down for Michigan, but there is a ton, and i don't have that much free time and i probably couldn't find them all.

How many team pages do we need to make this happen? Are there enough now?

There really aren't that many. I would be surprised if there were over 20 good ones. That's not enough.
