Rocket Nose??
Hello! So, my partner and I are having difficulties with our build, because the rules refer to this "rocket nose" but we have no idea what that is. Is it a separate thing? Is it a an me for part of the bottle? What is it?
Also, what would we use this theoretical nose for?
This is our first year doing Ping Pong Parachute, so the help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!!

Re: Rocket Nose??
The nose of the rocket is basically the very front. The rules state that the front must be blunt, so if you put a bottle cap on different areas of the front, no part of your rocket contacts the inside top of the cap.
I CAN DAB AT COMPETITIONS AGAIN

Re: Rocket Nose??
Someone prob already asked this but does the tube design have to satisfy the nose cone being blunt rule?
If so how do we make it to fit the rule?
thx

Re: Rocket Nose??
In my opinion as long as the bottle cap can rest on the tube it is fine. I do planning on submitting an FAQ if you want to submit one as well because I've heard of people getting tiered for using a tube design in some places even though it's perfectly fine for other places and technically fits the rules.donutsandcupcakes wrote: ↑January 16th, 2020, 5:54 pm Someone prob already asked this but does the tube design have to satisfy the nose cone being blunt rule?

Oh ok, I was confused for a second about the rules, but you cleared by doubt.xiangyu wrote: ↑January 16th, 2020, 7:20 pmIn my opinion as long as the bottle cap can rest on the tube it is fine.
