Science Fair Topic Idea Needed ASAP pls help

hi, um, weird topic but I need help finding a good science fair topic, for like 8-9th grade level, if someone can advice then I would really appreciate it. I have to submit a project idea to my teacher very soon... pls help

The presence of quantum physics in everyday technology.
It's interesting to see that people think of quantum physics as a far fetched branch of physics, something that only exists in sci fi and the edges of science.
However, from things such as laser pointers, transistors in the most simple calculator, and the most basic radio, quantum physics is present as the reason for their ability to operate.
If you need to build something to demonstrate this or record data, you can build a simple radio and explain how it works.

I feel like lots of these science fairs aren't looking for cool topics, but have more of an EXPD like rubric that they're checking off to see who understands the scientific method.
