More events?

I’m in division B, and my SO coach mentioned you could do activities that aren’t on this list, like mystery architecture. I’m wondering if they are wrong, or if there are more events than listed on here?

States can run trial events or state events not on the national event list, but still valid events.
You can check https://www.soinc.org/join/state-websites and find your state website.
Beyond that some tournaments will run certain events that don't contribute to overall team score, but do have placings for.
These are rarer, but if a tournament is doing them, they will be on the tournament's webpage somewhere - or at least they should be.
