2nd Annual Eagle Invitational
The 2nd annual Eagle Invitational is still accepting registration!
Eagle Invy is a Division B tournament hosted by the Cumberland Valley High School Science Olympiad Team and Coaching staff, and will be held at Eagle View Middle School in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on February 8th, 2020.
Due to our centralized location, we are easily accessible to both Pennsylvania schools, and schools throughout the East Coast, Midatlantic, and Midwest! Located in Cumberland County, Eagle View MS is about 2 hours from Philadelphia, and 3.5 from Pittsburgh, and Mechanicsburg is centered around many major highways, so transportation to Eagle Invy will be no trouble!
In addition to our great location, Eagle Invy already has a high quality of competition, including both 2019 Pennsylvania national qualifiers, Springhouse Middle School (7th at nats) and Harlan Rowe Middle School (15th at nats), and the 2019 Connecticut state champion, Bedford Middle School (21st at nats)! We have already attracted teams from across 3 states, and a full list of attending teams is on our website, so be sure to check it out!
Eagle Invy also has many great amenities. First of all, we will be awarding medals to the top 6 teams in each event, and trophies for the best 5 teams overall, which is an increase from last year! Next, we will have a concession stand running throughout the day, and every school will get their own home base! Additionally, we will be running in coordination with the Pennsylvania States Schedule, which has the same conflicts as the national schedule. Because Eagle is being run by the Cumberland Valley HS Science Olympaid team, participants will be able to talk to, ask questions of, and learn from experienced Science Olympiad members of one of the top teams in Pennsylvania! Last and most importantly, schools attending Eagle won't have to provide tests for the events they're proctoring! We have recruited both past and current Science Olympiad participants from across the country, including five 2019 national medalists, to write tests for Eagle! So, in addition to the tests being high quality, coaches won't need to worry about creating testing materials, and can focus solely on preparing their teams!
Be sure to register your team quickly, because our tournament is filling up fast! Register now to reserve your spot at Central Pennsylvania's only Division B invitational!

Re: 2nd Annual Eagle Invitational
We still have a few spots open. We run a smaller tournament than the invitationals held in Southeastern PA, but our tournament is fun and competitive. We'll have great tests and excellent event supervisors. The Cumberland Valley High School team is excited about the opportunity to share our love of science olympiad! We want your team to have fun and to improve in time for your regional tournaments. There really isn't anything exactly like a science olympiad tournament. We'll only be taking a few more teams. Register soon!
