chat upoading problems

I think I'm probably the only one this applies to, but my computer has no weird viruses yet, and I can't enter AJAX chat.
I press connect, after my user shows up and it just shows its loading for 5-10 minutes. thats the longest i've kept it on a tab before getting frustrated and closing the tab.
any suggestions?

Does the Java chat work for you at least?

I don't really know why the AJAX chat wouldn't be working, particularly since you use Gmail, which uses AJAX too. Is it stopping on the Connecting to Server screen?

Probably because he has the permissions to view your e-mail in your profile...

Huh. I've had that happen to me (AJAX chat not letting me connect). What I did was just walk away from the computer for an hour or two and when I came back and tried again, it worked. (I know, run-on sentence.) It might work for you too.

I'm not sure why AJAX would not work for load for you...but as long as one of the two chat clients works for you, :shrug:

This is probably a different story, but on my iPod, AJAX worked perfectly fine. Now, for the past couple...weeks? it doesn't. it will sit there loading forever. It might just be my iPod though.
