Does anyone know what happened to Teeland? They had a long winning streak (and no I haven't forgotten 2017 but that's random) and it's weird that this school that no one's really heard of won over Teeland and Colony.

Who says it's too unimportant? :P

Yeah, it's weird because Northern Lights isn't even listed under Alaska's teams on the wiki page. Maybe they're kind of like my team in that sense, as both of our teams won in our second year, beating two perennial powerhouses.

This is the problem with states that don't post their scores; it becomes impossible to track teams. Another reason why I think states should be required to submit scoresheets to NSO, who should post them at a specific place on their website.

Regardless, I did at least find proof that Northern Lights competed last year: https://www.facebook.com/AKscienceolymp ... 1590989661. Not sure if that was their first year or not.

I don't know about the past few years, but I do know that Alaska has in the past posted scores (I have 2012 and 2013 B and C). However, they were just a long document that lists placements and I've never tried posting them here since they contain competitor names.

That being said, Northern Lights did not compete those years so it does seem like they're a pretty new team.

Yep, as far as I can tell, 2013 was the last time they posted anything.

I've heard of Northern Lights and can confirm they've been reasonably competitive in recent years. Don't remember the details, I think they've been in the 3rd-4th range.
