Can any one of you please help me with on how I can prepare for the science Olympiad school tryouts that will happen in fall of this year ?

I think this would go in the general chat rather than posting games, but I would say it depends on the school. Different schools have different tryout processes and it's hard to give general advice that would apply regardless of the process.

Moved thread to general chat. But yeah, as wec said how to prepare kind of depends on how exactly tryouts are run. In general though, the best bet is to select a handful (4-6) events you would be interested in doing and focus on those.

I would start by eliminating half of the events that you definitely don't want to do and slowly chip off the other events that are either covered by strong people or you lose interest in. I started this season with 13 events I wanted to try out for and now it's down to 6.

It's also worth looking at incumbents and making sure you don't overlap niches with anyone too formidable.

I'll second this. I've seen plenty of people fail to make the cut because they were doing the events that already had good people, and vice versa where we sometimes had less than preferable people on the team to do events that no one else was good at.

Also pay attention to which events are popular. Only 2 people tried out for Sounds for our school and we both made the A team (but we are also both pretty competent at our other events and we have both done scioly before). On the other hand around 15 people tried for Code, I tried for it too but I knew I wasn't going to get in so I also chose a fourth event to try out for (Circuit, which is apparently not super popular, with around 6 people). Always have at least one "backup" event.
If your school holds a glorified science test as tryouts (like our middle school did) try looking over past science class notes.
