Does anyone think the topic will change for next year? It's been variable stars for a really long time.

It better, I got stuck with variable stars for the three years I was on the team and I'm sick of them now.

Just checked SOINC and there isn't a subject listed so you'll just have to wait until the rules come out in September.

That's just lovely. Ummm... Didn't the rules last year say something about a star or DSO that would be on the list until 2011 or until the event rotates out (which it won't)?

My bet is it's staying because of

Yeah but they could change the subject and still ask questions about it. I don't think it's happening though, now that you mention it.

We are all waiting eagerly for subjects come out, when that happens we'll decide weather to be surprised or not.
