So what are some of the weird fads from school that you had to live through? :?:

I remember that there was this weird jelly bracelet fad in fourth grade

1st grade - american girl dolls
2nd grade - grips for pencils
3rd grade - yo yo balls
4th grade - phat farm shoes
5th grade - livestrong bracelets
6th grade - heeleys
7th grade - hollister/abercrombie
8th grade - in the middle of the year it was rubik's cubes but that got old soon
9th grade - who knows

I dont remember the years, but we got Pokemon cards, Yugioh cards, Furbees (personally, those things terrified me, but everyone else loved em), yo-yos (there was one specific company...Duncan, i think), and Cabbage Patch kids, for girls.
2009 events:
Fossils: 1st @ reg. 3rd @ states (stupid dinosaurs...) 5th @ nats.

Herpetology (NOT the study of herpes): NA
Enviro Chem: 39th @ states =(

how could i forget pokemon and furbee?? pokemon was in 2nd grade for me and furbee was kintergarten. i have a pretty good memory of all the years/fads :D i know a lot of the grades below me are currently in the webkin fad but we're kinda too old for that. in my summer school class EVERYONE has a webkin and thats grades k-7. my scioly teacher HATES webkins. he wants to dissect one for science class :lol:

current ones umm like clothes that are like 10 sizes to big for guys and having shorts that go down to your ankles

it seemed to come and go at my school. while some kids still wear it most that did dont anymore
