all are really good

Guns'n'Roses: Sweet Child o Mine, Paradise City

AC/DC: Thunderstruck, pigeon's Bells, Back in Black, Highway to pigeon, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheep, You Shook Me All Night Long, Shoot to Thrill

Hendrix: Purple Haze, Fire

this really isn't many bands, especially not classic rock of the same era, you left off Queen, Sting, and some others

I'll go for Styx and AC/DC.

Styx...anything off "Cornerstone," "The Grand Illusion," or "Paradise Theater" can't be beat. Especially "Come Sail Away," "The Grand Illusion," "Superstars," "Lights," "Babe," "Borrowed Time," "Rockin' The Paradise," and "The Best of Times."

That's one of the reasons I don't like Guns N Roses - too many bad covers of good songs. Bob Dylan did that song better. And I'm not saying Bob Dylan shouldn't be covered - a lot of his covers have been good, like Mr. Tambourine Man, but the Guns N Roses cover is worse than the original. They've also done a lot of other covers I don't think were necessary or even sound good - Live and Let Die, Dust In The Wind, Imagine, and the list goes on and on.

If you're going to cover a song and try to make it a hit, at least make it as good as the original. Stop ruining otherwise good songs.
