Uncle Fester

I never thought I'd ever have to post something like this, but here goes:

Saturday morning I had my left big toe lopped off. I had a long-term infection that spread to the bone. Bone was crumbling and it had to go. I was admitted Friday, toe came off Saturday, and I was home Monday.

I'm feeling a bit shaky, but I'm home and have no pain - my neuropathy is reflecting it as ice water cold on both feet. If i concentrate, I ca still wiggle my missing toe - that'll last a year or so.

Mission Possible in Indiana is in capable hands, although I'm not sure any event where Murpgy's Law reigns supreme should have a State Event Supervisor named Murphy. It'll be rin same as the last two years -- I set everything up, and at Impound, Kevin Murphy takes over. I'll just be eating doughnuts, drinking coffee and talking to coaches.

Bear: not sure my PM with a new phone number went through.

Hope you get better. What's it like having phantom pains, if you don't mind my asking?

Glad to hear that you're still active, at least somewhat.

Sorry to hear that, but good to know Indiana Mission Possible is going to be fine! I'm also returning as an Indiana State supervisor this year, maybe I'll see if I can stop by and say hello!
