Type of water?
Should we use distilled or regular tap water for this event? Will it make a difference either way?

I did this event last year, and we used tap water and then microwaved it so that some of it boiled for our tests.

Btw do you know what water they'll use at the competition itself?

Using distilled vs. tap water will make Some difference that is negligible at best. At competitions, supervisors will almost always choose to use tap water, because why waste more money on distilled water anyway?MattChina wrote:Does it make that much of a difference?
