Loading block

The eye bolt on the underside of the loading block... does it matter if it is oriented parallel or perpendicular to the boom? The reason I ask is because the end of my boom is narrow. So I want the eye of the eye bolt to either be below my boom or parallel with the boom.

It doesn't matter which way the eyebolt faces
