Solar Power is a trial event for Division B at the national tournament for the 2018 season.

Trying to post this as widely as possible: we've revised the solar power rules to fix a few issues, primarily the scoring formula. Device specs haven't changed. The new rules are largely aligned with the Thermodynamics rules now. Check them out at:
