Re: Change Someones Mind
To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand ketchup. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of viscous fluid dynamics most of the jokes will go over a typical consumer’s head. There’s also the tomatos' agricultural outlook, which is deftly woven into their characterisation- their personal philosophy draws heavily from Masanobu Fukuoka literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike ketchup truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in the tomato’s existential catchphrase “I am red and have seeds,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Marx's 1848 pamphlet The Communist Manifesto. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Kraft Heinz’s genius wit unfolds itself on their tastebuds. What fools.. how I pity them.

Re: Change Someones Mind
First of all, Scratch coding, while good for concepts and thinking skills, has little to no applications to real-life coding. There is nothing but scratch that uses drag-and-drop in this sort of way. Also, the fact that the art and sound effects is part of the rubric for scoring is ridiculous. We're trying to make coders here, not artists! And even if someone wanted to go into this kind of industry as an adult (video game designer) you definitely wouldn't be using "stock sprites" for graphics. Game on is like an event where you learn the event to get good at the event, and you will not be able to carry the knowledge to anywhere else other than to your scratch account. And even then no one will notice you because people like flashy stuff on scratch.Name wrote:Game on is the best eventGame on sucks, but still, convince me

Re: Change Someones Mind
You could go explore how life works, how life functions, and everything related to life.dxu46 wrote:Earth science is the best category of science.
(lol you're not going to convince me here)
You could go explore atoms, elements, why certain types of materials act the way they do.
You could go explore how everything in the universe works, how energy works, how motion works.
Biology Chemistry and Physics all help explain how we exsist and function
Or you could go stare at a giant rock with atmosphere and alot of water. Seems very interesting.
