I have hypothetical friend considering posting MIT. What would happen if he did?

Obviously if there are watermarks it's a really dumb idea. I was pretty sure someone would try to remove the watermarks at some point.

Not sure. I suspect someone would end up reporting it to MIT SO. With watermarks it's easy of course. Without - it's still not too hard to trace the IP address.

Not sure. I suspect someone would end up reporting it to MIT SO. With watermarks it's easy of course. Without - it's still not too hard to trace the IP address.
It'd be a bold move, to be sure. I almost want to see it tried.

Honestly, I think it'd be funny to see someone so determined to try and do it without getting caught that they just retype out all the tests in their entirety. (This is a stupid idea that I think would be funny; don't actually do that.)

That said, if MIT wants to keep their tests secret because... reasons... that's their prerogative ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
