Re: Best Times
2 minute chinook with all bonuses was probably necessary to medal. I hear a team got over 3 minutes with a chinook.Alex-RCHS wrote:Anyone know best scores at MIT?

Re: Best Times
I placed 17th at MIT with a 1 minute homemade chinook flight ,just to give a reference to the competition that we faced. Though in general, most teams that competed didn't go for the bonus, which was really surprising. I think that we were one of the last teams in the rankings using chinook. Not sure how prevalent FF chinook kit was in the competition and how it performed for other teams. The other team that came with us had one capable of a minute and a half of flight time, but I'm not sure about the full potential of the kit.ScottMaurer19 wrote:2 min chinook was not enough to medalUnome wrote:2 minute chinook with all bonuses was probably necessary to medal. I'm just curious as to whether the winning time (3 mins) was with a FFM kittechnoal9 wrote:I placed 17th at MIT with a 1 minute homemade chinook flight , just to give a reference to the competition that we faced. Re: Best Times
Im fairly certain all of the top teams had FFM kits, although modifications were most likely made. From what I’ve heard, even 6th place (Eagle Independent) had around a 3 minute raw time.Rêveur wrote:I'm just curious as to whether the winning time (3 mins) was with a FFM kittechnoal9 wrote:I placed 17th at MIT with a 1 minute homemade chinook flight , just to give a reference to the competition that we faced. EDIT: Eagle did not get 3 minutes, but were pretty close with around a 2:40 time.
