I still don't like him. He's too slimy...
Edit: This thread might be a bad idea, because it might give away parts of the plot for people who haven't read the book yet.

Well, the last book has been out for almost a year now, it's in libraries, I'm guessing most "Potterheads" have already read it.

Sanpe is twisted. He's one of my favorite characters (really complex; I like complex characters) but even though he's "good" he's still twisted.

I would assume anyone who wants to has read it by now
plus everything would have been given away to them before this thread anyway

Not if they're people who only watch the movies.

Wow i just completely failed.. i completely misread the title of this thread.. you should be able to figure out what i thought it said. Anyway, I'm one of those people who only watch the movies because i cant er don't like reading. I don't really mind if there are spoilers on here though. I kinda enjoy hearing stuff ahead of time.

I like complex charecters too. I agree Snape is still twisted... I'm not going to argue that he's a saint, because he's not, but he is a very powerful example of human motive...

Just imagine, If he haden't called Lily the "M word", they would remain friends, and quite possibly get married. He never would have become a Death Eater hoping to impress her, and therefore never would have heard the prophacy, making it nonexsistant because Voldemort would not know of it(see HBP pp. 510-512). Therefore, he would never seek to kill either the nonexsistant Harry Potter or Neville Longbottum, and therefore there would be no series. Amazing the power of one word...
