Now that we finally know where the swap meet is...

@chalker any idea how the layout of the room is going to be? (e.g. tables and such) Any recommended locations?

Ooh. It'd be cool meeting people from this board online! Even though you guys don't know me very well, because I've been lurking for a good 2-3 years;;

We need a poster or something to make it obvious where we're meeting! Going off the map alone last year didn't work well, especially since my phone ran out of battery.

Also bernard is coming apparently. (I think)

I'm not sure at this point. There will be round tables there for the barbeque, before the opening ceremony, but I don't know if they'll clear them during the ceremony. I suspect they won't, so you can probably expect lots of tables to camp out at.

If cosplaying is allowed, I can dress as Moon (Female protagonist in Pokémon Sun/Moon) And people will definitely recognize me ^_^

Does this happen on the Friday before the tournament or sometime before awards on Saturday? I think some of us from Mason are thinking about coming up over the weekend to volunteer, it'd be cool to meet you guys!

Swaps is right after the opening ceremony on Friday night. I'd check the master schedule on the nats website.

The swap meet begins at 8 PM (right after the Opening ceremony) and ends at 9 PM.

I think it would be reeeeeally helpful if we had a poster this year. This is the one from the 2015 meetup:

Anyone up for making a poster similar to this one? Or if whoever made this one could speak up and bring it if they're going?

I'd be up for making one, although I don't think I really know how to print something like this (and doing it by hand would be worse).
