Hello, I just saw a thing called "Swap Meet" on the university website, and I thought it was pretty cool.
So, what do you usually bring there? And I'm from Alabama, so what are some suggestions?

People will generally bring unique items from their respective states. Many people bring license plates, for example.

Pins - City, State, etc. Many cities have little give away items with the city name that they are usually happy to give a team going to Nationals. It the past we have gotten frisbees, caps, pins, stuffed animals, gym bags, t-shirts and other items from the cities that our team members live in. Also, we like to bring items that relate to a specific SO event, or big industries in the state, or something that goes with our team theme for the year.

We have SO emblemed frisbees (not great quality, but have the logo) that we are going to try to bring

I'll bring you t-shirts. I got a purple frisbee with the SO logo and "Preston Middle School" on it last year. I'm hoping to get a few more SO t-shirts again this year. Sadly I couldn't convince anyone on Carmel's team to part with their (customized) t-shirts, but I did get a good Minnesota State t-shirt, and a team t-shirt from Muscatel (which is a lot more meaningful now...).

I'm doing rocks and minerals, so maybe some tumbled gemstones?

Lol the nickname on mine (which is *drumroll* "pikachu") is starting to fall off anyways XD it's probably gonna be hard to convince any one of them to give you one (and no, I'm probably not gonna give mine away to anyone)

But seriously, feel free to bring pretty much anything (except drugs and explosives and that kind of stuff, ya know)

(if anyone wants a Carmel token from last year (those hexagon-shaped ones), I have a ton and could try to send some to anyone who wants one through Munster's team xD xD xD )

Ooh since I brought fossils last year I'll bring minerals this year!
