I'd second this. Not Ailanthus since there's no basal leaf glands, and Smooth Sumac is more coarsely toothed.

But is that one(american mountain ash) even on the list?

Yep, not sure what list you're using but it's on the nationals list.
ornithology, forestry, entomology, triple E, green generation, water quality, dynamic planet (lakes & rivers), awesome aquifers, meteorology, robot arm, write it do it. :)

O sorry, i've only been using the mo state list cause thats what they're using at state, and im 99.99999% sure we're not going to nationals so... :D

The annoying thing with IL is that we have a state list that's used for Invites and Regionals. However, at State, we will be using the National list >.< 55 more trees to learn...in around 4 weeks.
