I'd second this. Not Ailanthus since there's no basal leaf glands, and Smooth Sumac is more coarsely toothed.sciolyswizzle16 wrote:american mountain ash?

The annoying thing with IL is that we have a state list that's used for Invites and Regionals. However, at State, we will be using the National list >.< 55 more trees to learn...in around 4 weeks.

The correct answer is american mountain ash.
