We didnt spend much on ours because we got most of the wood from the school's woodshop room. Theres like huge piles of wood like all mixed together and we just sorted through and picked out what we wanted.

Last year we used a squash ball but the ball you want depends on your device. Different devices have different ideal projectile sizes.

Though this year you can only use raquetballs, tennisballs, hacky sacks, and one other type of ball. Its pretty specific.

I think that type is ping pong balls.
Which seem very light and for some reason make me think they'd be less accurate (air drafts would probably affect them).

I used raquetballs last year and those worked pretty well. Plus there fun to play with. Like everyday someone was like walking around bouncing one.
