No, I think your carrot heat engine is still fine. It's only gunpowder that's banned, not rabbits

I really dislike Texas Scio tbh, also because they let teams do troll events like Game On

Well, someone's gotta try it out so we all know that it wouldn't make a good national event.

I'm going by Friday to see some of the builds (I go to A&M, so it's close) and now I really want to see someone's mission blow up.

Even without gunpowder someone's will probably catch fire... also I suppose you have a point regarding the trial events. But doesn't nats also do trial events?

Technically we typically do 'pilot events' at Nationals. The way the process generally works is someone comes up with an event idea, convinces some regional tournaments to try it out, then convinces a state director to trial it, who then presents it to other state directors for trial, which then results in piloting it at Nationals. We like to get lots of data points from across the country regarding new events.

In the past 4 years of state I don't think I ever remember an autoloader
