Why on earth is that? Tennis requires more talent and physical exertion than many other sports.
i just think it's funny. I play it occasionally, but I just think it's a funny sport.
Funny? In what aspect? I'm not being aggressive, but I'm pretty passionate about tennis, and I guess I don't see what you see about it.

I wouldn't say tennis requires more talent or exertion than any other sport. That's being extremely biased. Each sport requires something different of its athletes, which is why I could drop a long-distance runner in the pool and they probably wouldn't make it to the other side just as I can't run more than two laps without dying. Take color guard for example--in terms of exertion, that is--we make sure to stretch out thoroughly before doing anything else because of how much we use various muscles. How you view a sport is entirely arbitrary.

Well, I didn't say that either, so I don't know why you bring it up. :)

I'm confused now as well. I was trying to say that you may view tennis as a sport that requires more exertion, or "work", I guess you could say in a way, but other sports do too, just in different ways

Is marching band a sport? Also, state science olympiad involves a lot of running for me. OSU is one of the largest campuses in the country.

I'm not confused. I just don't know why you said "I wouldn't say tennis requires more talent or exertion than any other sport". I mean, did someone say that that made you respond? I didn't. I just said that tennis requires more exertion than many other sports. But like you said, it's exertion in different ways, so saying that has no intrinsic value anyways. .-.
