The first of these strange visions will show you a victim, a person whom you may or may not hold dearly to you, but will die never the less. A string on wood vibrates, and by his hand many have died. Now it will be his turn.

I'm inclined to think the bolded is dramatics but for some reason I think it means something.....this clue is simply you're stereotypical original assassinator games clue. Could mean quite a few people. I'm also wondering if the assassinator is going for the old not as much around user just so they can say they killed someone. That being said naps is still probably the smart move....

I don't see much you guys can do at this point, there really isn't much to work with on this "clue" taking it literally doesn't narrow it down enough. And it would be bad to lose paleonaps this early.

One more little note: Sassy said that by his hand MANY have died. Paleonaps (according to sweetcoop's chart) has killed one person. Just saying, I don't think one = many. That being said, blue cobra has only made one kill as well. Perhaps instead we should start looking for people who have killed "many" people instead of just one.

I suppose I wasn't quite clear. What I meant by "many have died by his hand" is "he is a past assassinator and has killed at least one person." While he has killed before, I don't think many will consider his kill rate to be very high.

Also, who doesn't love Christmas in August?

Though I concur it's probably higher than one.

Most assassinators only have one kill. I think that it may be higher than one, but I would like to rest assured I'm safe.

So would I, but I think the important thing to do here is protect an accurate victim- I just can't see one = many. Remember, there are accusations riding on this.

The ratio is 5:2 on possible accusations if we protect someone else. Odds are, you are not the victim for reasons I've stated before. I think the odds play out in everyone's favor (except the assassinator, of course), if we look for a more likely target than just giving up and protecting an officer who seems to be begging to be protected (which we've pointed out seems suspicious). I mean, winneratlife could just protect any officer if that's what we're going to do.

I don't know what instruments other officers play, but I also didn't know you played cello. You just seem to be begging to be protected, and I'm not against you being protected, I'm just trying to think of this logically. We're not going to get anywhere with protecting people just because they're afraid.

It could be an informant or a civilian- a lot of people don't start off games going directly for the officers- I mean, there do seem to be two main parts of this clue: Stringed instrument and former assassinator with "many" kills. You fulfill one part of the equation, but then, so does Paradox21, for example. Is it really good sense to protect someone just because they have a hunch that it's them?
