As non-SOUP invitationals in PA go, the two that have their team registration lists public, Carnegie Mellon and North Pocono, have some very interesting teams.

Mentor (4th '19 OH)
Shady Side (5th '19 PA)
Whiting (7th '19 IN)
Manheim Central (17th '19 PA)
Parkersburg ('18 WV champion)

North Pocono
Bayard Rustin (2nd '19 PA, 16th '19 nationals)
The Mount Academy (6th '19 NY)
State College (9th '19 PA)
Kellenberg (11th '19 NY)
Northwestern Lehigh (11th '19 PA)
North Penn (12th '19 PA)
North Pocono (14th '19 PA)

I’m pretty sure it’s not a rule but it’s a choice that some schools make.

Yep, some schools do, some schools don't. Both are acceptable practices.

North Pocono Competes for the experience but doesn’t take medals.

They may start letting their 2nd team take medals but there is no plan for their varsity team to take medals this year

Unfortunately, the Mount Academy is probably is not attending North Pocono this year. They are on the wait list. North Pocono has been sold out since October.

Apparently, CEPA Division B only has 6 teams registered for the regional. How does everyone think this is going to affect Division B state bids?
