Re: Ornithology B/C Notes~
Random question, but i was wondering if sticky notes are permitted in the binder? (like not sticking out but inside). - The event parameters say "Sheet protectors, lamination, tabs and labels" but idk if that applies?? sorry this question is really dumb lmao

Re: Ornithology B/C Notes~
The only way you could use sticky notes is to tab or label something- I doubt having actual notes on sticky notes would be permitted as that causes a large extra amount of information that could be included. However, if I were you, if I had some extra information I needed to add I would have a few blank pages in my binder or just write it in with a pencil wherever I needed the extra information (there was a similar case last year where using sticky notes on notes pages events was prohibited, this likely carries over to binder events).

Does anyone know how to distinguish between the Carolina and Marsh Wren? Seems like I always get those two mixed up...

Re: Ornithology B/C
In general, how is everyone handling identification? Are you guys just studying it and memorizing, or do you have some sort of flow chart in your binders? This is the one major hurdle of this event that I am hung up on.

Re: Ornithology B/C
I would suggest memorization, as in a test you definitely do not want to let identification be a hurdle to you and waste any time on that. Some techniques you could try would be flashcards, etc. However, if you have extra space in your binder, it certainly would not hurt to have a flowchart in case a tricky specimen comes up.TheMysteriousMapMan wrote: ↑Mon Nov 25, 2019 7:44 pm In general, how is everyone handling identification? Re: Ornithology B/C Dumb Questions Hehe
Dude if stickers are allowed on binders I’m definitely going to be putting untitled goose game ones
does anyone know if that’s permitted?
