I dislike it very much that people are starting to get Converse just for the sake of getting them. Especially when they look absolutely awful in them!

Agreed. It's the same deal with things like skinny jeans or uggs. It takes a certain type of person to wear them, and if you have that right personality and body type, they look great. I just don't like the whole idea of people changing their appearance just because other people do, especially if they don't even like them, because eventually those people are onto some other thing and then the first thing gets thrown away and forgotten and you waste all your money.

btw, skinny jeans actually make your thighs look bigger, because it's slimming your ankles. only really really skinny people wear them because they know they are so skinny enough that it doesnt make a difference either way.
