Re: Can't Judge a Powder B
I think it'd be best to go for anything that's obvious because they once asked us how much powder was given to us.

Re: Can't Judge a Powder B
Okay, I am new to this forum and just looking for some help for this event. My real question is "What tests do we really need to know for this event?" My partner and I have a pretty good grasp on the subject, we just want to know the tests to expect to be needed. Thanks to all of you!

I think you will first make observations and then answer questions using you observations. So far, I have been making observations to help prepareevanzo23 wrote:Okay, I am new to this forum and just looking for some help for this event. I know that my school has a really good record of of the events in science olympiad(not to brag), but as a first year member, not even alternate, I am pretty much ready to die. We are really trying to do well, I just don't know... My first year at my school, first year trying out for science olympiad, first time on the actual team. Agh! I just hope I do well.

Good Tests(in my opinion):

Acidity
Temperature
Endothermic/Exothermic
Carbonate?
Electrolyte?
Color of Agent? etc.

Re: Can't Judge a Powder B
That's not how science olympiad works. The community isnt at your beck and call. There's a ton of information in this thread, if you'd go back to the beginning and read it, but remember, YOU'RE responsible for your own success or failure. We're here to offer some advice, but ultimately, you're the one that needs to find as much information as you can and know how to apply it.sciolympian wrote:wherz everyone?
