CTY anyone?

I just got home. Whoosh wasn't a huge thing at session two, although I did hear it a few times (I can't remember from where though). I didn't have Jenny. She was the CTE A teacher, right? I was in B, but I knew the people in A. That's a good video of Josh juggling. I'll watch some other ones later. I didn't crossdress on drag day. A girl I knew brought in head bands though, so I just wore three at once.

CTY was really fun. It's like, I'm just getting to the point that I know the people that I'm with, and then it's over. I'm glad to be home, but I'm sad to have left.

yeah...thats cuz most of the people who said whoosh left first session so you probably didnt meet austin, chen, kayl, v or w/e his name is, and all the other big whooshers...you probably heard whoosh from trevors hall, arlesa's hall or allison's hall...probably trevors hall...

yups...vid props to leitk12 whose real name i will not say here...he was one of our best glowstringers at cty...haha...i watched the single men vid from your session's talent show...i have to say its not as good as ours no offense...

we had some hilarious cross dressers on drag day...one kid wore a bright orange dress...some others wore like tank tops or something...it was kinda funny lol good times...good times...was this your first year?

I'm going into ninth grade, yeah. Most of the people going into my class were going into ninth grade, but some were going into eighth grade. I heard Whoosh from Trevor's hall. Arlesa didn't have a hall in the 2nd session. On one of the last days I asked my RA if there were an RA Arlesa, and he said that she was just there for the first session.

That single men thing was funny. Later, my RA said that they hadn't practiced it at all since the first talent show, so I think they were great considering that. This was my first, and almost certainly only year at CTY. I had a great time at CTY, but there are just other things that I want to do.

yeah i went to passion...even though im a twomore...basically all the nomores/nevermores like you all go to passion at like 6 in the morning and you get a small cup of passionfruit juice...other ppl can come too...then all the never mores will share their favorite memories of cty...for example
"this is my last year at cty and what i enjoyed most was playing frisbee with me and my boys from my hall. and the glowsticking at the dances..." or "this was my first and last year at cty and i just really like hanging out with the people from my hall and meeting new people..."
or "this is my seventh and last year at cty..if you include baby cty and cty has really become part of my life. im going to really miss it and the times my hallmates and i did..."
or "this is my last year at cty and im going to really miss hanging out with my boys and singing do-re-mi in the shower..."

and at the end of each person;s turn you say "i love cty. i love passionfruit." and take a little sip of your drink. the whole point is to reflect on your cty experience and its just kinda a last salute to those who wont becoming back next year...

also, if there are any onemores who are coming back to the same site again, you usually vote for one of them as the "passionfruit king/queen/emperor/empress" and they will be the one who will run the passionfruit next year and they will choose their the next king/queen...the last tradition that goes with this is creating the words "CTY '09" from the cups...haha...

oh yeah....do you remember the oriental ice cream truck music that they played when you wer supposed to go to your poles? i made a recording of it so i wouldnt forget haha....

Thanks for the info on passionfruit. Of course I remember the song! How could I forget it? I heard it 3 times a day (usually) for 3 weeks. Where did you go on your days away? We went to the Towson Mall , and then we just went to Chipotle and Cold Stone.

well on our first day away it was july 4th so all the stores were closed. our RA was also on duty or something so we had less time to do stuff. we just went to starbucks

on the second day we went to the inner harbor mall (i still have the bus pass lol). my friends and i werent big spenders...we just walked around...until we found ourselves in....[insert dramatic music here] STARBUCKS!!!!! ....yeah...i got a frappuccino on one of our last days at cty our TA took us to barnes and noble...and (once again) we made our way to starbucks and i got another frappuccino....

yeah...i wanted to go to cold stone but we decided to go to starbucks...haha...we ordered chinese food and papa johns pizza (the best) like 10 times. on the second to last day we had this huge sleepover...everyone in one room and we ordered pizza...lol. veggie lo mein is actually pretty good.
