Yes, I would like to..
Thanks,

I actually don't know how to run this but is their someone who can, I will post this in the general forums too so others could help.
What did the thermometer say to the graduated cylinder?

It is used to connect the battery to the switch and motor circuit. I use it change battery packs of different voltages before a run.

Yes, that sounds like a good idea.

2 questions: When they say they want data spanning one variable range, is that spanning all the graphs, or one variable per graph (Load is the variable for all graphs vs.
1 graph for 3 different loads, 1 that has 3 configurations for the potentiometer, one for the size of the netting holes, etc.)?

Number Zwei: When they say 10 data points, is that for all the graphs in total, or 10 data points per graph. In total, I mean to say for each graph, we have 3 datat points, resulting in 12 data points. 12>10.

Aha, I see. That's not explicitly stated in the rules as something you can use, but I would submit a clarification if you really want to use it since it seems like it wouldn't be a problem to use (no IC's, etc-it's pretty much technically wire). If you're not allowed to use it, to modify voltage you could use a potentiometer, a buck-boost converter, or a DIP switch with a few different resistors in series with the individual switches.

Our crafts seem very sensitive to the penny roll placement. The difference is working vs failing. Wondering what kind of design flaw this indicates?

This was normal for our craft last year. A small change in mass placement could change the performance completely. If it works in some configurations but not others, your design flaw is probably that you need to keep the pennies in the same spot every time. I think you should find the proper mass placement, then build the craft so that it holds the pennies in thst specific way every time.

Hello! New to this event this year and and a question:

Is it possible to increase your fan speed with a capacitor? Would the capacitor run out in 15 seconds? Thanks!

A typical capacitor would probably discharge near-completely within a few seconds under those conditions.

I am guessing the logic is capacitors provide larger instantaneous current than batteries hence your craft accelerates faster. However, to make it work, you would need a very very large capacitor. Large capacitors are heavy and dangerous to play with.
