How long have you been in/involved with SO?

For anything Science Olympiad-related that might not fall under a specific event or competition.

Why not try to create at team at your high school? Is that possible?

I was thinking about doing that but i dont know if it would work out. I'd have to find a coach and as a freshman, i dont know many of the science teachers. I was thinking about asking my biology teacher who is the head of the science department and the science club [not SO] teacher. The problem with that is that i heard she may be retiring after this year

If you get enough kids. Sometimes there are schools that don't have very many interested people, so it's hard to start a team. :(
Science Olympiad is a tribute to Murphey's Law. This has been proven experimentally.
And no, I'm not a guy...even though my sig says will robsinson. It's a reference to Lost in Space, an ancient sci fi TV show. And the robot is the character who always says the line.

No, i think what he meant was just do SO with them. Go to normal classes and such, but then afterwards go to S.O. at the other school.

Can't do that.
Public School Students

Public school students may participate in Science Olympiad only as members of a team that is formed in the local public school that they attend. In the case of 9th graders, public school students may compete on the team from the middle school that they most recently attended. Public school students may not opt to participate on another school’s team.
