When you predict next year's rules,and have already finished a large portion of what may be on astronomy next year, as well as design most of a prototype mousetrap car for next year, based on a prediction.
Also, when you realize that once class of 2018 graduates, you'll be the last remnant of that magical rookie year as a team.

When you are predicting the next year's rules before this years first invitational. Based on my rules prediction for Mousetrap, I have already been trying to control the curve that my car has. I never straightened out it's curve because of that 2019 rules prediction.

When you volunteer to help with Division A in a event equivalent to one you studied for and made the device for just to have a conflict with a better event, and I have yet to read the rules... I don't have to be there until 8:30 tomorrow...
