Re: New York 2011
Since nobody seems to have done this yet:
1. Eagle Hill
[27 point gap]
2. Gelinas
[16 point gap]
3. Murphy
That's all I know.
Congrats to Gelinas on third in WIDI, though (as well as all the other teams and all the other events, but that happens to be my sister, who is Gemma W here on the boards).

Haha, I have to admit that it came as quite a surprise when Eagle Hill won, but then again they pulled it off two years ago also. Congrats Eagle Hill members, and congrats Gelinas members also!!! I heard somewhere that Eagle Hill only had 14 members on their team, can anyone confirm this?

Re: New York 2011
Looks like our dreams didn't really work out to well.
Once again, I have gone home empty handed, however a 7th and 8th place(fml.fml. so close.) was pretty nice, I guess. And that 13th(or 14th, I can't remember...) place in WIDI, well, to be honest, it was ten pieces and way too easy.
But, however, I am still disappointed in the place Weber took in yesterday's competition. Although, we got top ten, we did worse than we did last year, and even with a DQ last year(hjfgjksgahkhgas), hopefully next year(I'll most likely be back) we will have a different team, and we've already constructed one, named, "Geek Chic and that one boy". Hopefully, we'll be able to do a lot better, and remind our coach of how hard we worked. And while I'm typing this, I'm really just hoping that Science Olympiad isn't cut next year, which from some perspectives, means nothing to people. And furthermore, if you were at the StC impound, you saw my spazz(ummm... it was illegal so we had to add some weight to the arm, we used some locking nuts, and it worked, giving me a great 7th place).. well proves that I'm a spazz.... also, if perchance, the experimental team from South Orange Middle School is reading this, you were very funny, a little creepy, but funny. And also, if the Great Neck South team is reading this(experimental team and do-er for Write It Do It), you guys did a great job! And we hope we helped you during experimental when you asked us the definition of things before we went into the room. And to end this, I would like to thank SUNY Ulster for holding the competition, Wisdom Lane for letting us stay in your home-room and my coach, for making us practice all the time, so we could get this far in the competition. Also, great job to Gelinas and Eagle Hill, represent NY like you mean it
. That is all.
edit: sooo.... the scoresheet that they gave us on saturday is different from the one on the website..... WIDI went from 13th place to 24th place.... great....

Congrats everyone, especially Gelinas and Eagle Hill!
And a huge congrats to Murphy, who did absolutely awesome. I've never been more nervous at a Scio award ceremony before, you guys totally kicked butt.
Though I don't know if anyone recognized me there, I was the guy running the Fossils event with the grey Hawaii Scio shirt.

Re: New York 2011
Wow, what a close competition! I'm not surprised that Murphy did so well - who knows, they might even be nationals bound next year.
