Sorry, I wasn't really active in these forums until recently. I'll try to do better next year. There was just a lot of discussion about track surfaces and seemed to me that the levelness of the track was more important. However, the test is going to be the biggest differentiation among the top teams. You could still try the plastic furniture slider idea. You just cut those down to a smaller size and stick them on. They come with sticky tape attached.

during. during the time block we are called up to test.

Are you sure that's how it will be run at nationals specifically and not just how its been run at invitationals?

At my last invitaional, half the teams took the test in a certain time block, half in another time block, and everyone tested the vehicle in their time selected. So Idk what it will be like at nats. The schedules don't say anything about teams testing, so I'm gonna guess that we test in our time block like ashernoel said
