hey, i was wondering, *ahm*anyone from IL*ahm*
since ive come upon a drastic turn of events.
our coach from last year absolutely refuses doing it this year and so i asked around to ALL the teachers in my school, (yes, even english teachers) and then our last hope was the 8th grade science teacher. So we asked him and he said he will consider it, which was the best response we had ever gotten. recently i emailed my old coach and today, i recieved the shocking and saddening fact that the 8th grade science teacher who said he would consider it, he decided not to do it.

so now we are left coachless :/

i wouldn't mind so much, except for the haunting fact-can i, as a student, register a team, or must the coach, an adult, do it?

anyone can coach the team, but the one who registers the team has to be a teacher or administrator at your school. So theoretically, you could hold all you practices out of school, and just give a random teacher money to sign your team up, with no involvement from them afterwards (though they might need to be at a competition)

oh darn it
i was goign to sign up for our team...and just get the money and stuff >.<
and im guessing, since i sent out a forward to most of the ppl on our team, (that hasn't graduated to hs, mind you) they were shocked, so i am guessing they would *cooperate* during the meetings and actually *try* this year....
and if we all worked, we could probably figure out schedules and meetings shouldn't be hard...a library across the street :D

but then all we have left to figure out is the coach problem AKA, who is going to stand as coach during competitions
and who can register us up >.<

Maybe one of you could coach it... Or get someone from another school to do so.
100% of deaths are somehow caused by science.
Don't be a statistic.
Don't do science.
