Looks really cool! So when you put in the event scores it calculates which teams are predicted to place where? Do you have source code we could see?RoboMarth wrote:Spent entirely too much time on this results tracker / predictor:

Re: Ohio 2017
Yep, it just calculates a predicted score based on the placings and an assumed average unranked placing. All Excel formulas / conditional formatting, I think you can just download the file as an Excel spreadsheet to see them.Magikarpmaster629 wrote:Looks really cool! Pretty cool. The color scheme looks nice, I'll have to try that someday.RoboMarth wrote:Yep, it just calculates a predicted score based on the placings and an assumed average unranked placing. Re: Ohio 2017
So I plugged in the scores for Missouri 2016 and it predicted the placements of the top 7 teams precisely (although predicted team scores were pretty far off). Nice workUnome wrote:Pretty cool. Re: Ohio 2017
I've spent the past few hours putting this spreadsheet for my predictions for Ohio. I used both invite and regional results from this year, and for the top 10 teams of that, I brought in competition results from the past five years.
Predictions
I was pretty surprised with how it turned out. What do you all think?
