Everyone doing this event should check out the series Silent Invaders on youtube. It focuses on Aquatic Invasive Species and is SUPER informative and actually pretty interesting.

I often wonder how Piedmont does so well at Nationals after all these in-state changes; NC didn't run Robo Cross last year, but Piedmont still won the event at Dodgen even though it was their first time in a competition that ran that that event.bernard wrote:Yes, unless the tournament you're attending specifies that you follow another list.ceg7654 wrote:The list posted on invasivespeciesinfo.gov is slightly different from the official list posted by SciOly, but we only have to know the ones of the SciOly official list, right?North Carolina has it's own list: http://www.sciencenc.com/event-help/Inv ... To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a cap, just a suggestion that tournaments notify teams as early as possible.windu34 wrote:Seems like an awful lot of changes. I think the trial rules had a cap, but the official rules just say that teams have to be notified by November 1st (which is today).windu34 wrote:Oh okBernard wrote:To the best of my knowledge, there isn't a cap, just a suggestion that tournaments notify teams as early as possible.

Re: Invasive Species B/C
Has Florida added any.... windu? Just to clarify if a state does not have a list by today then it can be said that no changes to list will occur before competition right?
