Edit*-Also don't forget... There is some heating of soil samples on the sheet... So you must know some formulas about mass, etc... But I'm pretty sure they will give that to you...

I got most of my information from the father of a girl on my xc team. He like studies soils and is way into it. It was really cool. Of all the resources I used/am using I think that actually learning from a person is best, I actually got like excited to be learning about dirt. ha ha

ok yea im am in this event and iam the only one i have not a clue wat to do. But my teacher told me to google fertilizer zones and click on the one for NC cooperative extension. print off every single article and it will help you a lot.brookefritz22 wrote:Um... i have not done this one before. You also need to know about fertilizers and other stuff, and chemicals and minerals needed in soil to help different types of plants grow. A good cheat sheet always helps... so work on that.
